MEMBERSHIP
We welcome all eligible governmental public service employees to join Blacks In Government. Membership is open to municipal, county, state, as well as federal government African-American employees.
Types of Membership (annual dues shown)

If you care about making a difference in your workplace or in your community, and if you want to develop yourself personally and professionally, then BIG is for you.  There are three way to be affiliated with us:

  • As a Regular Member - any employee or retiree of Federal, State, Local government; ($35 National dues, $15 Chapter dues
  • As an Associate Member - any person who is in accord with the principles, policies, and objective of the organization.  You receive all rights & privileges of membership except those of voting and holding office; ($25 National dues, $15 Chapter dues)
  • As a Lifetime member - any person who is in accord with the principles, policies, and objectives of the organization, but must be a qualified regular member to vote and hold elective office. ($300 one-time National dues, $15 annual Chapter dues)

Chapter membership is contingent upon national membership - initiated through a common chapter application.

Send the completed form back with a check (payable to Blacks In Government - Greater Boston Chapter) to the address that appears on the form. You may also send the completed form back, and pay your annual due securely online (below). Your application will be acknowledged by a membership committee member.
